What you'll do     The Financial Crime Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible in supporting the Senior Manager with the delivery of a robust financial crime quality assurance framework to ensure Vodafone meets its regulatory and legislative requirements. They will carry out reviews to assess the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial crime prevention activities, such as anti-money laundering and anti-bribery and corruption. They will also help promote and drive our financial crime culture to deliver good customer outcomes.    

  • Perform independent regular and targeted quality assurance reviews of financial crime activities to assess compliance to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, sanctions laws, and other financial crime prevention regulations.
  • Analyse customer interactions, process operations, records, contracts and data sets to ensure regulatory requirements are met and good customer outcomes are achieved.
  • Prepare detailed QA reports highlighting trends, root causes of deficiencies, and suggested improvements. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement suggested improvements.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate record keeping for all QA activities. 
  • Provide support and expertise to colleagues within the wider Risk & Compliance team.
  • Engage and coordinate with colleagues from 1st and 3rd lines of defence.
  • Manage or support ad hoc projects as required.
  •     Who you are    
  • Experience in financial crime prevention, AML, or compliance within the financial services or related industry. 
  • Good understanding of financial crime regulations and governance, compliance and risk management principles.
  • Experience in a quality assurance role. 
  • Strong analytical, written and communication skills, including Microsoft Office tools
  • A willingness to learn, positive outlook, and an appetite to succeed. 
  • Knowledge of telecoms products would be an advantage.
