Full Job Description

Oversee the technical management and optimisation of the University's Oracle R12 E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials systems. The University maintains a number of other systems such as, SAP Concur eExpenses and IBM TM1 Cognos planning applications, and has integrations with multiple systems across the wider University. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of financial applications, working closely with Finance Division and IT Services to deliver seamless, reliable, scalable, and well documented solutions that support the University's financial processes. As well as playing a critical role in shaping and executing financial system strategies that optimise the potential of existing systems, the successful candidate will also work closely with the People and Finance Service Transformation (PFST) programme to help define and implement future solutions.   • Extensive experience with Oracle R12 EBS, specifically within the Financials suite
  • Proven experience of designing, documenting and delivering CEMLIs for Oracle R12 EBS implementations
  • Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
  • Solid understanding of financial system integrations, particularly with other enterprise systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrable experience leading technical projects from concept through to delivery, including managing resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent all-round understanding of how to approach the design, build and testing of application improvements and integrations.
