Pay Rate: £31,500 to £33,800 (Dependent on Experience) Grade: RCS N Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Thursday, 06:15am to 3:15pm, Friday 06:15am to 11:15pm Location: Wellesbourne - CV35 9JY DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
  • To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
  • Track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level
  • Supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve Operational Standards and defined outcomes for your responsibility area / shift approach
  • Develop your TDM according to your Roles & Responsibilities and aligned to the TDM of your team. Validate it with your immediate leader

  • Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices
  • Previous experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders
  • Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
