Full Job Description
You'll join the team at Shene Sports & Fitness Centre, Park Avenue, East Sheen SW14 8AT. Facilities include a fitness suite, cycle studio, class studio, all-weather pitch and multi-purpose sports hall.
The centre is open to the public weekdays from 6.30am to 10pm and weekends from 9am to 7pm. You'll be working 17 hours per week on the following rota:
- Tuesdays 3pm to 9.30pm (includes 30min break)
- Thursdays 3pm to 9.30pm (includes 30min break)
- Saturdays 9am to 2pm (no break)
What you'll be doing
You'll join our fitness team, providing professional and friendly tuition, carrying out inductions and designing personalised fitness programmes.
Making sure that all fitness suite users are kept in a safe and secure environment, delivering great customer service and ensuring the facilities are clean and safe so that every customer has a great experience.
You will also be responsible for maintenance / cleanliness procedures within the gym.

Are you a friendly and confident communicator who enjoys meeting people and providing great service?, Are you Level 2 Fitness qualified and interested in improving the fitness of adults you meet?, You MUST have a Level 2 fitness qualification, a first aid qualification and some experience for this role. (Applicants without a valid qualifications with be rejected).
You'll also have knowledge and experience of fitness testing, inductions and designing personalised exercise programmes. Good customer care, financial, administrative, marketing and programming skills are essential.
A key element of your job will be to develop the business as well as retaining existing customers.
You'll need good knowledge of Health & Safety issues and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and provision of service.

Actual starting salary of £12,276pa. for 17 hours p/w
Salary progression scale for this role is £12,276 to £14,447pa.
