Flourish - High Intensity CBT / EMDR Therapist

You will provide one-to-one high-intensity CBT or EMDR alongside stabilisation and collaboration with Peer Specialists to provide the Flourish care model for adults with symptoms of PTSD and C-PTSD.

We are looking for suitably qualified people who bring energy, enthusiasm, and a high level of skills and experience to deliver treatment for patients who have historically had limited access to psychological therapy. We are recruiting across the Dorset locality, including Poole, Bournemouth, North Dorset (Sherborne, Shaftesbury, Blandford), Weymouth & Portland, Mid Dorset (Bridport & Dorchester), and The Purbecks (Wareham & Swanage). Several roles are available, and the flexibility to work part-time and across areas is available., Good administrative, time management, and communication skills are also essential. Experience of working within the NHS or similar organisation is highly desirable., Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

The Flourish concept is a shining example of a new, innovative service that complements the complex trauma pathway across Dorset. Flourish is a C-PTSD/Trauma pathway for patients who require more complex psychological interventions than previously available.
