Shangri-La, The Shard, London is seeking aFood & Beverage Executive Assistant whowill take charge of providing comprehensive support to the Food & Beverage Division, including all aspects of administrative duties and co-ordination in the day-to-day running of the division. Food & Beverage Executive Assistant plays a key part in the smooth operation of the division, liaising with everyone from executives to managers to line staff, including potential telephone interaction with guests and outside vendors.

  • You should display excellent communication skills, including fluency in written and oral English.
  • You will be collaborating and communicating with colleagues via email, telephone, and in person.
  • Additionally, you will be supporting external and internal communications, scheduling, data entry, and much more.
  • You will need to be efficient, organised, and have a positive and people-person attitude.
  • You will take ownership and command with situations around office resources and administrative points.
  • The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality, along with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships, and experience collaborating with various departments is beneficial. Technical proficiency in Calendar Management, Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is crucial, as is a flexible approach to managing changing priorities across hotel and regional operations.
