What You'll Do : As our Demand Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in aligning our production goals with customer demand, sales objectives, and financial targets. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining a dynamic production plan that ensures smooth operations, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery. Working closely with sales, production, and procurement teams, you'll drive efficiencies and help us exceed customer expectations. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include :

  • Collaborating with the sales team to determine customer requirements and sales forecasts.
  • Collating and processing customer orders.
  • Developing and maintaining a production schedule to meet order deadlines while minimising delays and shortages.
  • Coordinating with production leads to ensure manpower, equipment, and materials are available to meet production demands.
  • Issuing accurate recipes and batch sizes to the production team in line with the daily plan.
  • Communicating daily schedules to production managers and ensuring adherence for optimal efficiency.
  • Monitoring and realigning materials and packaging supply daily to prevent shortages.
  • Managing supplier and customer communication to address and resolve schedule changes.
  • Verifying production completion and analysing yields, sales, and production data to inform future planning.
  • Preparing weekly sales forecast vs actual reports and identifying discrepancies.
  • Reviewing raw material and packaging stocks to minimise waste and improve storage efficiency.
  • Ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled on time and any shortages are reported promptly.
  • Working with the procurement team to track supplier performance and address recurring supply issues.
  • Driving continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and cost control.

    We're seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in demand and production planning.
  • You'll need a passion for optimising processes and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Skills & Attributes :
  • Experience in food production planning and raw material demand planning within an FMCG environment.
  • Strong understanding of food production processes, ideally in a cook / chill operation.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and solutions-focused.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and distribution management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
