Full Job Description

  • Provide administrative and practical support to teaching staff in the department.
  • Support the teaching staff within designated subject areas/departments to ensure the safe and proper use and maintenance of resources and equipment.
  • Assist the designated class teachers/s or subject leader plan and deliver schemes of work.
  • Care and maintenance of large/small kitchen and sewing equipment (including fault finding)
  • Willingness to carry out domestic tasks e.g. washing up and laundry.

    Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Practical skills related to cooking and sewing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English for all student and public-facing roles
  • Be able to use ICT for data entry and creating displays for pupils' work.
  • Quick Learner
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake relevant training opportunities
  • Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has previous experience of:
  • Working in a school environment
  • Administering First Aid
  • A clean driving licence and your own transport is essential for travel across the Trust's multiple sites and schools.
