Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a Front Office Risk Manager to join Royal London Asset Management, In this role, you will work closely with the Property senior management team within the business to continuously uphold and improve the Front Office risk framework. The Front Office - Business Management team support collaboration and efficiency across the Front Office by resourcing and maintaining efficient cross-team systems and business processes. About the role

  • Working with the management team to ensure that risk registers are up to date and accurate, support the ongoing RCSA (self-assessment) cycle.
  • Develop new control framework in line with Property business strategy and applicable regulations and own the ongoing testing & reporting of the model.
  • Perform control assurance testing, including key reports testing, in accordance with plan and framework.
  • Root cause analysis on risk events, ensuring the appropriate corrective and preventative actions are identified and implemented on a timely basis.
  • Building process maps showing key controls and used to identify any additional control requirements. Contribute to key policy changes.
  • Represent the Front Office Property team in assignment to key projects from an operational risk perspective.
  • Provide oversight, engagement and support on internal and external audits.
  • Produce risk management information to key internal / external stakeholders and committees.

    Knowledge and experience of Asset Management (Front Office) processes, products, and controls.
  • Experience and understanding of the Property sector and typical structures used to hold property assets.
  • Strong collaborator, able to work with different teams and support the business proactively.
  • Understanding and commitment to risk management and change management best practice.
  • Previous experience in a Front Office environment is desirable, including an understanding of Fund Management daily routines and processes.
