General Practitioner - Glastonbury Health Centre

Exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic and good-humouredpractice looking for a like-minded Salaried GP to join our team for 6 Sessions per week.,

• To provide a full range of general medical services as contained within the National Health Services (Primary Care) Act 1997 and which will include domiciliary visits as deemed appropriate.
• As a salaried GP, you will be expected to support the partners with all General Medical Services in line with contractual and regulatory frameworks.
• GPs are responsible for planning their own day and patient lists, prioritising their askmyGP caseload and providing a suitable consultation in terms of telephone, video or face to face where required.
• You will be given the flexibility to manage your own face to face appointments in partnership with the patient, deciding the appointment length.
The Practice:

• All documents, prescriptions and lab reports are actioned daily, owing to built-in admin time.
• Scheduled weekly 'huddle' meetings with clinical and non-clinical team members for connectivity.

  We are based in the Heart of Glastonbury, Somerset. Glastonbury is a small, friendly market town set in the beautiful Somerset countryside against the backdrop of the Somerset Levels; an hour from both Bristol and Bath and two hours to London. The Tor is a prominent feature alongside the ruins ofthe Abbey around which the town was established. There are also excellent private and state-run schools within the area.We are a friendly, welcoming, positive, supportive team, with good CQC rating, and awarded excellent GP training. We encourage staff development and education, and champion apprentice roles.
Our practice cares for around 6,100 patients, who are central in all we do. The health wellbeing of our staff is also paramount, and we encourage a healthy work life balance.
