Full Job Description

The role involves assisting the genomic associate team who collect information from patients and their families before and after appointments with clinicians. The role will involve contacting patients to arrange telephone appointments with the genomic associates, sending information and consent forms to patients, requesting information from other hospital trusts, cancer registries and laboratories both nationally and internationally and ensuring workload spreadsheets are up to date and accurate., Please refer to the detailed job descriptions and main responsibilities for the vacancy within the job description and person specification attached.

Trust policy requires the cost of DBS applications be recovered via salary. The amount of £21.50(standard) or £41.50(enhanced) can be deducted from salary, in manageable monthly instalments for up to 3 months following commencement in post. DBS applications submitted from 2nd December will be subject to the new DBS fee of £26.40 (standard) and £54.40 (Enhanced).
