Full Job Description
In this role, you'll be the vital link between the operations, warehouse, and stock teams-ensuring seamless communication and support to keep everything in our Depot running smoothly. Working alongside a collaborative team of eight colleagues, you'll tackle a variety of office tasks, from reviewing documents and managing paper-based systems to using specialised software. You'll also play a key role in ensuring goods in vehicles are booked into the diary and stock is receipted in an effective and accurate manner in addition to creating Excel-based charts and tables, maintaining quality control challenging any inaccuracies with quantities or best before dates for reports and documentation, and stepping in to support warehouse operations when needed. To thrive in this role, you should have prior office experience and strong telephone and IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office. Familiarity AS400 or D365 would be a plus. A keen eye for detail is essential to maintain high levels of accuracy, along with excellent organisational skills to manage your workload efficiently. Strong communication skills will be key in building and maintaining great working relationships with both suppliers and internal colleagues. If you're eager to learn and bring a proactive mindset, we'll provide all the training you need to succeed! This is a great role that offers the opportunity to obtain experience within a large organisation. In addition to a competitive monthly salary, 18.5 days annual leave and company pension, you can also look forward to the following benefits:
- Wagestream - Access to an app that gives you early access to your earned salary and supports financial wellbeing
- The option to purchase additional annual leave
- Help at Hand - Access to 24/7 GP appointments, physiotherapy and a range of health and wellbeing services for you and your family
- Life assurance
- Access to Sysco Perks offering discounts across a wide range of products and services - from gym membership to your weekly supermarket shop
- The ability to purchase our products at hugely discounted prices
