This could be the perfect time for you to join us in our Corporate Department as a Governance and Planning Coordinator.
As a Governance and Planning Coordinator you will co-ordinate and maintain a corporate knowledge management system to capture all force issues, decisions and actions to support the force governance framework and inform organisational learning.
What you'll do
+ Serve as the primary contact for all information and benchmarking requests from external agencies, ensuring a unified corporate response in all communications.
+ Record and distribute information and correspondence from external agencies, coordinating with relevant Area Commands and Departments to ensure timely progress and action.
+ Provide secretariat support to designated force committees, briefing Chairs as needed and updating Force instructions to maintain the governance structure.
+ Conduct research and strategic scanning, compile national and local data to identify threats, risks, and opportunities, and prepare reports to inform strategic planning, decision-making, and policy development.
+ Oversee Force instructional information systems, offering guidance to users, ensuring quality and accuracy, and monitoring progress to maintain relevant and accurate information.

+ Educated to A level or equivalent or with other relevant vocational experience.
+ Great organisation skills - along with strong attention to detail.
+ Self-motivated as well as a strong work ethic.
+ Ability to work well in a team as well as being adaptable to working independently.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Experience in using Microsoft packages.
