Full Job Description

An enthusiastic and dynamic music graduate is required by this academically selective girls' school in North London to start in January 2025 and work for 2 terms. This position would suit a recent music graduate interested in gaining experience in the thriving music department of an independent day school. Duties will include assisting in classroom music lessons, assisting the Director of Music in planning concerts, rehearsal and performance work and administrative work.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, highly organised and will enjoy working with young musicians of all abilities. The role is flexible and can be tailored to the strengths and experience of the successful applicant. The post offers the opportunity to gain valuable pastoral experience assisting a form tutor and the candidate will spend a proportion of their time in the Junior School to develop a holistic view of education 4-18.
