Hours: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday (and occasional Saturday fixtures)

King's House School was founded in Richmond in 1946 and has been a boys' prep school since then until September 2024, when girls joined Reception and Year 1 for the first time as we move to co-education. Girls will also be joining our Senior Department from September 2025. The school operates on three sites in or around Kings Road, which is on the very pleasant setting of Richmond Hill. The Senior Department (for pupils from Year 4 to Year 8) is at 68 Kings Road, the Junior Department on its own site just down the hill, and the Nursery around the corner on Princes Road. The school also has a 35-acre sports ground just over Barnes Bridge, where there are numerous pitches, athletics facilities, cricket nets, tennis courts, two 3G pitches and all-weather pitch.

We are looking to recruit a Graduate Sports Assistant to support our PE staff in lessons and games sessions as well as fixtures throughout the week. This role would suit a highly motivated and enthusiastic graduate with a passion for sport, wishing to gain valuable experience in a School and hoping to pursue a career in Teaching.King's House has a strong sporting tradition. There are currently four full-time members of staff teaching PE to individual classes and leading games teaching to year groups as a whole. The school benefits from having its own extensive grounds, a 35-acre site in Chiswick, with facilities for football, rugby, cricket, athletics and tennis. The main school sports are rugby, football and cricket, although older pupils are offered tennis as an alternative to cricket. There is a comprehensive fixture list, which includes matches on Saturday mornings.
