We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bath and North East Somerset to assist with the appointment of a Grounds Maintenance Operative, on a 5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., Operate and maintain various horticultural tools and equipment (mowers, hand tools, powered tools, tractors).
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including safe handling and storage of chemicals.
Use electronic devices to log work, report issues, and record tasks.
Interact with the public and handle complaints as directed by managers.
Work flexibly across multiple council services (waste, recycling, cleansing, parks).
Train to operate vehicles and machinery, such as LGVs, forklifts, and balers, where applicable.

Vocational qualification or relevant experience at Level 2.
Knowledge of grounds maintenance techniques and equipment.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong team player with good communication skills.
