The Role: Join our dynamic team at New City College, where we are committed to providing exceptional support and guidance to our staff, students, and parents through innovative digital platforms and information learning technologies. - Provide support and guidance on college systems, including the VLE, eLearning platforms, and immersive and VR technologies, for staff, students, and parents.
- Develop and maintain digital training materials to enhance the effective use of learning platforms and resources.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and GDPR regulations are consistently applied when handling data and supporting digital systems.
- Document internal procedures, monitor system performance, and respond to service desk requests efficiently.
- Stay current with digital technologies and innovations, sharing knowledge through staff training, development events, and team meetings.
- Provide management information on system utilisation and contribute to college-wide projects aligned with strategic objectives. Who You Are: The ideal candidate will possess a relevant qualification to a minimum of Level 3, along with Level 2 English and Maths. They should have a Digital Technology qualification at Level 3 or CPD Equivalent, and customer service qualification/training/experience. A high level of knowledge of VLEs, digital applications, online and mobile apps is essential, as is evidence of using EdTech to support learning. The candidate should have experience working in a busy customer service environment and supporting users through e-learning platforms. They must be willing to travel between sites and demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to handle change, be adaptable, flexible, and maintain a positive outlook. The ability to prioritise and work under pressure, as well as the initiative to share ideas and carry out new developments, is also essential. What We Offer:
