Full Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for taking the lead in relation to the performance monitoring of Hard FM Estates Services within UHCW including monitoring, analysing and evaluating contract performance across all aspects of the Hard FM contract, ensuring that the project meets Trust requirements and is delivered in a timely and efficient manner within the parameters in terms of cost and quality. Estates responsibilities includes the provision of robust project management for capital variation projects ensuring delivery to time and costs. The post holder will have line management responsibility for a section of estates staff, management of service provider and external contractors / project teams and manage operating revenue and capital budgets., 1. Take the lead in ensuring that the Trust and Project Co meet the Hard Facilities Management Services requirements at UHCW.

2. Ensure effective communication and liaison with the Hard FM Service Provider by providing, receiving and communicating highly complex and highly sensitive information throughout the Trust. Frequently using high levels of interpersonal skills and expertise of Estates and Facilities to provide a range of services in complex environments.

3. Represent the Director of Estates and Facilities at the Hard FM Performance Group.

4. Manage out conflict for the implementation of change to ensure achievable service delivery, giving direction and guidance to the wider Trust. Establish and maintain liaison groups with PFI Partner, operational teams and modern matrons dealing with conflict and resolving problems.

5. Completion, presentation and communication of highly complex documentation including corporate governance and statutory returns.

6. Responsible for the monitoring of the Hard FM Services contract, making judgements across a wide range of estate and project issues, considering highly complex facts, legislation and information, giving expert advice on estate issues. Analyse the PFI Partner performance reports and information and advise the Trust on key areas and issues.
