Full Job Description
We have a great opportunity for a talented Head Chef to lead and motivate our team of kitchen staff.
Our Food and Beverage Team supports our famous Bugman's Bar in Lenton Nottingham, as well as providing essential food services to the staff restaurant for over 1500 Games Workshop staff. You will also manage the food and beverage offer for our East Midlands Gateway site which is located 20 minutes away.
In this key role, you will demonstrate your excellent experience in leading teams to success in a kitchen and bar environment. You will do this by managing the kitchen staff and ensuring strict food hygiene standards are met as well as looking for opportunities to continuously improve.
Working closely with both the Food & Beverage Manager and Bugman's Bar Manager, you will help to create the food menus and ensure the offering is of a consistently high standard.
This is a hands-on role, you will be directly involved in the kitchen, spending time cooking, training and setting high standards to be maintained at all times.
You will have experience working in fast-paced environments and possess the resilience to overcome the challenges that come with a dual site large-scale food offering. We are looking for someone who leads by example to create and maintain a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is just as important as your skills and experience.
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
