Full Job Description

Casual Ballerz CIC is a youth development organisation with a mission to change the lives and potential futures of young people from underserved communities. The way we have achieved this for the past 7 years is through our youth development framework where high level football training coexists with holistic development to improve resilience and empowerment. We currently have a semi pro team that competes weekly, and we are looking for a strong new coach to come in and help us to achieve our targets for the 2024/2025 season.

The coach's responsibilities include:
- leading training high quality sessions
- motivating, assisting and running life skill sessions
- providing advice during gameplay,
- developing game and session plans
- fielding match day squads
- recruiting players
- commuting to and from games and training
- handling match day kit, attending staff meetings, as well as scheduling team meetings.

To be successful as a football coach, you should demonstrate great love for the game of football, and be able to foster good sportsmanship in your players. Outstanding candidates are highly motivated, organised committed, disciplined, and patient.

Football Coach Responsibilities:

To develop game plans, tactics, techniques, formations, and strategies.

Organizing and scheduling tryouts and shortlisting potential players.
Determining individual player abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, and factoring these into the gameplay and strategy sessions.
Ensuring the football pitch is available for training sessions and that players show up on time.
Establishing rules and regulations and ensuring players are familiar with them.
Fostering good sportsmanship in all team players, resolving disputes, and addressing bad behavior in a timely manner.
Identifying exceptional players who might be scouted for clubs higher up.
Ensuring all sports equipment is available and in working order.
Encouraging players to live a healthy life with a balanced diet.

Experience in sports coaching recommended.
Uefa C (FA level 2 coaching license) - Uefa B would be admirable.
UK driving license and access to a car.
Emergency first aid
Clean enhanced DBS
Passion for football and in-depth knowledge of the game with willingness to learn more.
Strong management, organizational, motivational, and strategizing skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Disciplined self-starter with a positive attitude.
Degree in sports science, sports medicine or nutrition - Admirable
