Stowe seeks an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of Art to lead and further develop this exceptional department.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic Art practitioner with an energetic and forward-thinking approach to Art and departmental development. The person appointed will be expected to teach up to and including GCSE and A Level.

A willingness to contribute fully to the provision of art at Stowe, while also developing art within the extra-curricular and pastoral life of a busy boarding school is essential.

Stowe School

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate and is located in Stowe's world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding School with approximately 900 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff with 60 staff and their families living on site. In January 2021, Winchester House and Swanbourne House Schools became part of The Stowe Group.
