Full Job Description
- Ensure that the Central businesses sustainable procurement strategy clearly reflects Skanska's 2027 vision for Industry leading supply chain that includes: Health, Safety, Environment, Ethical, Equality, Social, Community, Economic and Digital Engineering requirements
- Through departmental leadership, provide a positive impact on Skanska's vision and values throughout the procurement process.
- Ensure Skanska profitability is increased by close relationships to Operational teams
- Represent the EF on the Skanska UK Procurement Leadership Team
- Forge relationships with strategic suppliers and subcontractors
- Maximise leverage and synergies across OU's, EF's and Corporate departments
- Ensure is Procurement Department is operating within business policies and procedures.
- Work in partnership with the Service Delivery Team [and Innovations Team] to identify business requirements and enhance process automation and data visibility in line with Procurement objectives.
- Identify key stakeholders and engage with business users to validate business process requirements, ensuring alignment across the BU as necessary and creating business case proposals for appropriate sign-off when required.
- Represent Procurement when investigating Oracle enhancement recommendations to enhance productivity through more efficient ways of working and lead a robust cross-OU evaluation process to sign off new Oracle releases or revised ways of working.
- Accountable for reporting key performance metrics on ERP Adoption.
- Oversee the data cleansing roadmap to ensure a high-quality global supplier address book is available for the BU, encompassing both Oracle and non-Oracle supply chains.
- Identify and provide accurate business analytics to enable the assessment and mitigation of risks associated with procurement activities, such as financial position, and supply chain utilisation.
- Ensure analytics are available to support reporting performance by the supply chain against business plan and client commitments (social value, carbon, digital, SCSS data, plus visibility cross-OU if shared supplier).
A strong leader, able to influence others and implement effective change. - Extensive experience of procurement
- Product knowledge of materials and plant and subcontracts
- Extensive knowledge of suppliers, subcontractors, market prices and trends
- Ability to negotiate competitively and effectively
- MCIPS qualified or industry equivalent.
- Experience and knowledge of P2P processes within Oracle Fusion and how they impact across the BU.
- Proven ability to identify best practice and provide lessons learnt summaries across the Group to support Oracle and other standard process adoption.
- Critical senior stakeholder management and cross-OU collaboration
- Be a member and active contributor to Procurement Leadership Team.
- Extensive expertise in Supply Chain Relationship Management
- An aptitude for process development and improvement
- Competent in the use of 0365 software specifically MS Excel, and Multiple Purchasing systems
