We seek to appoint a dedicated and outstanding teacher to take on the role of Head of Subject for A Level Economics. This is a full-time, permanent position. The Economics course follows the OCR specification and has over 50 students enrolled on the course.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Economics and the ability to inspire students both inside and outside the classroom. As Head of Subject, the successful candidate will take responsibility for curriculum decisions and will be expected to apply current educational research and best practices to maintain high standards across the department.

Inspire challenge and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Utilise effective strategies to maximise student attendance, work submission and progress.

Lead on assessment strategy, monitor data, ensure effective course sequencing and delivery.

Plan enrichment opportunities, contributing to careers education and marketing efforts.
