Full Job Description

  • Lead strategic planning and decision-making supporting the team of Directors.
  • Advise on compliance, legislation, and quality standards to drive excellence.
  • Oversee Health & Safety, Facilities/Asset Management, and Quality/Compliance.
  • Develop performance plans and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, projects, and combined ventures up to £10m.
  • Provide expert leadership in facilities management and asset maintenance.
  • Source and manage contractors, ensuring optimal service quality and competitive rates.
  • Drive energy management, sustainability, and safety initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership and board meetings.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks, health and safety management, and technical advances.
  • Strong written and communication skills to ensure clear policies and systems of work.
  • Technical knowledge of building construction, standards, defects, and design.
  • Familiarity with commercial property frameworks.
  • Project management experience and safety-related qualifications (NEBOSH or IOSH).
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
