Head of Maintenance - Care Home

As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you'll be responsible for ensuring the care home environment is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents and staff. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, from fixing leaks to gardening, and you'll also be expected to manage a team and liaise with contractors. This is a hands-on role that requires experience in property maintenance and at least one trade skill., As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you'll make sure we have a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well. You'll turn your hand to all sorts of tasks within the care home building as well as in the gardens and grounds. That could mean fixing a leaky tap one minute and planting some new bulbs the next. You should be comfortable working alone, leading a team and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. We'll also need you to liaise with contractors on jobs that fall outside the expertise of your team.
