Head of Maths Salary: National Teacher Pay Scale M1-UPS3 + TLR1E £12,039 Start Date: September 2025 or sooner Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday-Friday Contract: Permanent Benefits available at The Dean Trust

  • The Dean Trust is looking for an exceptional individual to join the team at Dean Trust Ardwick. Dean Trust Ardwick is part of The Dean Trust; a group of high performing schools. We opened in 2015 and are now a fully-fledged Year 7-11 school, serving over 1200 pupils, in the heart of the Ardwick and Longsight community. We pride ourselves on being a local school for local children, and since inception we have become the school of choice for families. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the next phase of the school's development, helping to embed and expand our commitment to true inclusion. The successful candidate will assume overall responsibility for leading the quality of education in Maths. They will lead a team of subject specialist teachers, providing leadership and support to enable them to thrive in their roles, develop professionally and effectively contribute to the school's core purpose. The post holder will have proven excellence as a classroom teacher and will possess a relentless dedication to improving the life chances of our pupils. The successful candidate will therefore contribute to our aspiration for all pupils to thrive as citizens of the world, without exception. Further to this, the Maths Faculty at Dean Trust Ardwick is currently a Sustaining Mastery School. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to professionally develop through access to the Secondary Maths Subject Leaders Community via the Turning Hub.
