Job Title Head of Maths Location St Mary's Catholic College Responsible To Assistant Headteacher Salary Grade MPS/UPS plus TLR 1A £9,782 Contract This is a full-time, permanent contract Start Date 1st September 2025 or sooner if possible Closing Date for Applications Friday 25th April 2025 at 12.00pm An enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Head of Maths is required to join a thriving and successful curriculum area. - Want to transform children's lives and develop a love of Maths.
- Can be accountable for student progress and development within the subject area
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner
- Can effectively manage and deploy teaching/support staff, financial and physical resources within the department to support the designated subject portfolio
- Can lead a department and develop and enhance the teaching practice of others
- Work well with staff and students alike
- Are looking to join a community of schools that promotes the formation of young people into successful citizens
- Are interested in developing their practice and committed to their own professional development
