Head of Outdoor Education

Part time

Denstone College is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join us as Head of Outdoor Education. The successful candidate will oversee the College's outdoor education program, including the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, outdoor activities, and trips, while also supporting the games program in coordination with the Director of Sport. You will report to the Deputy Head - Co-curricular.

The successful candidate will have:

· DofE supervisor or assessor qualifications

· Ability to work with secondary aged children

· Experience with supporting children within outdoor education

· Experience of DofE in education

· Mountain Leader Award is desired

· Experience with record keeping and administration

· Good outdoor education knowledge

· A working knowledge of the DofE administration in schools

· Leadership and management experience

· Knowledge and understand of how to develop and grown an outdoor education programme
