Full Job Description

This post will lead on all aspects of LCL digital strategy and will be responsible for all of LCL digital transformation programmes. A key part of this role will be to lead on the implementation of the EPR Order communications module and to provide expert level support on the migration to the new CMPN LIMS solution.

The role is Hybrid in nature but is expected to provide support and visibility of the IT team at all of LCLs Sites.

Provide Leadership to the IT support function within LCL.

Be the link between the trust digital service and LCL.

Provide expert support on the LIMS migration.

Lead on the Order Communication aspect of the EPR implementation.

Be the LIMS technical design lead.

Work with digital teams across C&M to support integration of other third party system as necessary, This is a managerial role in the provision of effective, efficient and fully integrated IT

Systems services within Pathology. Maximising the services availability and integrity

as well as optimising the value gained by the Pathology from its investment in IT

Systems.

This will be achieved by:
Working with the Directorate Managers in the running of the Trusts IT

Systems by supporting the Trust's requirements of both clinical and nonclinical systems, providing professional execution of Incident, Request

Fulfilment, Change, Configuration and Problem Management;

Managing with software and hardware installations, specifications, testing and

service transition; including but not limited to LIMS and Middleware

Supporting the HLT in meeting business objectives by contributing to

assessment of potential technology innovations and, where approved, assisting

their implementation;

Providing professional support (related to pathology) to the Trust Digital team

across the functions within the IT department.

Complying with corporate governance structures in keeping with the principles

and standards, as set out by the Trust.

pathology service and the wider trust objectives. The post holder will be
