Do you want to use your communication skills to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of thousands of people living in East Sussex? If so, this could be the role for you! As a council we are working closely with our colleagues in the NHS and other local partners as the East Sussex Health and Social Care Partnership. We've been working together for several years to help improve the health and wellbeing of local people, reduce health inequalities, and break down barriers between health and social care. You will be responsible for a monthly e-newsletter, coordinating a number of key meetings, and supporting communication activity across the partnership. This role requires close working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively tailor and target communications to our audiences, to ensure all communications are accessible and inclusive. The successful candidate will be creative, accurate and thoughtful and have experience in:
- Editing a successful e-newsletter
- Writing engaging copy
- Building relationships between organisations
- Working in, or with, health and social care services The role is fixed-term for up to 12 months to cover parental leave. It is a hybrid working role, and you would need to be able to attend County Hall in Lewes on Tuesdays and other days if needed. You'd be part of the friendly and welcoming Insight, Information and Communications team in Adult Social Care and Health. To apply for this role follow the 'Apply Now' button above.
