Full Job Description

Overview Due to site growth, we have a new role available for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our flagship facility in Corby, The WEB. The purpose of this role is to manage and facilitate all site health and safety activities in a manner that ensures all statutory and company requirements are achieved and maintained in support of the business objectives. This is a hands-on role and reports to the HSEQ Manager. The salary for this role is £25,000 - £28,000 per annum plus benefits. How will you contribute?

  • Escalate/report all accidents/incidents/near misses/hazards as necessary using the site internal escalation.
  • Assist managers in investigations of accidents/incidents/near misses where necessary.
  • Observe all environmental and safety rules and signs at all times.
  • Conduct health & safety compliance checks and audits.
  • Ensure all actions assigned to them are completed thoroughly and on time.
  • Help the site and team to achieve all relevant objectives and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Updating H&S files as needed
  • Supporting development of toolbox talks and H&S briefs
  • Updating H&S communications boards across site

    Strong administrative skills, ideally with a Health and Safety background
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft word and excel
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, Disability Confident
