Full Job Description
As our Health & Safety Advisor, you will assist the Head of Health & Safety in ensuring our Colleges comply with all health and safety legislation and provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters to internal employees and external employers (e.g. student work placement providers). The work you do as a Health & Safety Advisor is key to ensuring our staff and students have a safe working and learning environment and will play a key role in promoting a positive health and safety culture.
Our Health & Safety Advisor will have a track record of ensuring appropriate risk assessments are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner, and a detailed and up-to-date knowledge of the HASWA and all other Health and Safety legislation.
A NEBOSH (National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety) is an essential requirement. If you don't hold the NEBOSH certificate currently, the Group will fund the qualification for you with a requirement to pass it within a year of starting the role.
