Healthcare Assistant

As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:

• Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
• Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
• Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics
• Support the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care on the wings and healthcare centres

We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Primary Care team at HMP Risley, a category C prison located in the Risley area of Warrington., We are looking for caring, compassionate but also driven professionals who can help us drive our vision for a fair and inclusive healthcare access to all. Our new Healthcare Assistant will:
• Hold a NVQ Level 2 / 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent
• Have a non-judgemental and compassionate approach
• Be able to evidence their Continued Professional Development (CPD)

  This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. HMP Risley has an operational capacity of around 1100 inmates, and is a 20 minute drive from Warrington, and 30 minutes from Wigan. Hours: This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, and you will work on rotational shifts Salary: This position is full time , youll receive an annual salary up to £27,195 per annum - depending on experience.
