Healthcare Assistant

Provide high-quality care, ensuring patients are comfortable and well-supported.
Assist with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
Support patients with their meals, feeding when necessary, and promoting healthy eating habits.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment, ensuring equipment and clinical areas are well-stocked and hygienic.
Undertake routine clinical observations, including:
Blood pressure monitoring
Pulse rate and rhythm
Temperature checks
Height, weight, and BMI measurements
Blood glucose monitoring
Peak flow assessments
Assist clinicians in minor surgical procedures, including dressing wounds and removing sutures/clips.
Maintain accurate records and report any changes in patient conditions to healthcare professionals.
Promote independence, encouraging patients to make choices and engage in daily activities.
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, helping them maintain social connections.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a healthcare or support role.
Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and empathy.
