Full Job Description
The Integrated Assessment Unit are looking to recruit a HCA. The posts are shift work in order to ensure 24 hour, 7 day a week cover. The successful applicants will need to demonstrate a desire to work with a variety of patients. The Urgent Care pathway for patients is a very fast process and, as such, we require individuals to have a basic knowledge of health care provision (private or NHS). The Urgent Care Division is committed to professional development of all staff through a number of training options. If you feel you have the qualities we are looking for then we would like to hear from you. The post holder is responsible for assisting the qualified nursing and medical staff in carrying out assigned tasks, involving direct nursing care in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse/medical staff. The post holder will at all times demonstrate and behave in a manner in accordance with Trust Policies and Ward/department protocols.
