Heart Failure Senior Enhanced Practitioner

1. This role will involve autonomous, independent clinical practice, as well as leadership of the enhanced practitioners working in the department. The post holder will act as a senior healthcare professional within the Heart Failure Service and provide support to the Enhanced Practitioner workforce in Heart Failure and be identifiable, highly visible, and accessible to patients, carers and staff for assistance advice and support. The post holder will utilise advanced clinical skills within an interdepartmental and / or multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients within Heart Failure receive holistic, timely and high-quality clinical care.,

• Utilise advanced clinical skills within an interdepartmental and / or multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients within Heart Failure receive holistic, timely and high-quality clinical care.
• Exercise autonomous clinical practice, high levels of judgement, discretion and decision making in clinical care, in accordance with their scope of practice.
• Draw on the four pillars of practice to lead and influence improvements to standards of care.
• Develop a culture of organisational learning to inspire future and existing staff.
• Support or Lead on the improvement of clinical care though clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and research in collaboration with clinical and academic colleagues.
• Demonstrate compassionate leadership in daily working, supporting other Enhanced Practitioner in your areas of work, holding line management responsibility for these members (Band 6 enhanced Practitioners).
