Full Job Description

Working within the Council's Crematorium and Cemetery Service, processing and administrating funerals, customers, memorials, finance, colleague's work tasks and other administrative functions of Environmental Services under the direction of the line manager.,

  • Co-ordinate and administer funerals booked for Oldham Council's Crematorium and Cemeteries
  • Process and implement sales of memorials.
  • Administration duties in relation to graves, cremations, memorials, and all associated tasks.
  • To provide administration duties up to grade 3 level in all Environmental Service areas.
  • Key Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:
  • Experience of using computer packages for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, using the internet and sending/receiving emails
  • Experience of undertaking a wide range of administration and business supporting tasks
  • Customer service skills to deliver polite, courteous, and efficient service to colleagues, stake holders and service users.
