About the Role and Team: The Horizontal Trading team at eBay is responsible for developing and scaling trading and loyalty levers which drive growth and retention of buyers and sellers. We plan and implement a quarterly calendar of promotional activity and incentives intended to deliver relevance, value for customers, and drive business performance in partnership with marketing and category management teams. You will be responsible for leading and co-ordinating operations behind the coupon programme - our most impactful trading lever in driving top line business performance. You will also be responsible for fleshing out and leading on a newly launched initiative within our incentives programme. Success will be measured by:
- Incremental GMV growth
- Improvements in spend efficiency and return on investment

- Operational innovation What You Will Accomplish:
- End-to-end management of coupons within our CRM system.
- Facilitate category management teams with inviting their sellers to coupon promotions and provide regular updates on sign up rates ahead of deadlines.
- Produce cases with forecasted sales and spend efficiency, including recommendations on how to proceed.
- Reduce churned sellers by monitoring for 'leaks' in the process and creating safeguards.
- Coordinate with supporting functions such as marketing and merchandising teams to ensure coupons are delivered on time and with impact.
- Use data to find opportunities to scale the coupon programme further
- Strive for operational excellence by optimising processes with a view to improving efficiency and reducing errors.
- Understand the eBay customer, and help to instill a customer-first attitude within the team and wider business.
- Engage with product teams to lobby for developments which will benefit coupons.
- Balance trade-offs between business needs and technical constraints, gaining consensus from partners along the way. What You Will Bring
