We are having an open day on 30th November 2024, at Westview Community Hospital Plummer Lane, Tenterden. TN30 6TX for new roles at 2 of our community hospitals - Westview in Tenterden and Hawkhurst (TN18 4PU). We have the opportunity for you to be part of our ward inHawkhurst Hospitalworking with an established team OR part of developing a new ward atWestview (Benenden East)in Tenterden! The majority of our patients here require further support in becoming as independent as possible before going home and have been admitted to us either from being unwell at home or following a stay in an acute hospital. We are looking for staff to support this exciting opportunity and be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely together to benefitthe patient's onward journey. Full induction and training will be delivered to enhance any skills that you have in rehabilitating patients, recognising deteriorating patients, IV administration, end of life care and wound care, dependant on your qualifications. We have daily MDT board rounds, safety huddles and use EPMA for medication administration Please come along and meet our staff, where they will discuss the roles available and take you on a guided tour of the Westview ward and facilities For further information. The work you do will be crucial to the running of our hospital and the recovery of our patients. As a community hospital Healthcare Assistant, you'll:

• Work as part of a team to provide care to local patients and families
• monitor the quality of care they're receiving
• provide feedback to managers on the quality of care.
Your patients could be any age, but they'll often be elderly, while others may have been recently discharged from acute hospital, be terminally ill or have physical disabilities. As a Healthcare Assistantyou will work as part of a team to keep people safe and well during their stay. You will carry out care plans designed to support people and make sure that people who use our services have a good experience.
