Full Job Description

A lovely, busy couple living in Soho, NY, is seeking a part-time housekeeper to help take care of their 4,500 square-foot apartment. They currently reside intermittently in New York for 3-4 months of the year; but the candidate would continue in the role during their absence. The position is for two non-consecutive days per week; the days and times are to be determined.,

  • All housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, cleaning of the bathrooms and ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Regular deep cleaning; window sills, skirting boards, glassware, appliances, etc
  • Laundry and ironing - or there could be times when it will be sent out and the candidate will collect
  • Must have a very strong organizational and presentation mindset with the home kept styled as designated by the couple or interior designer
  • Drawers and cabinets should be meticulously organized
  • Running errands, such as dropping off dry-cleaning or sending packages
  • Grocery shopping as needed and washing and drying the produce, and storing correctly
  • Admitting and supervising vendors and deliveries in the home - keeping the couple updated at all times
  • The couple enjoy having flowers around the house when in residence, if you don't have experience with flower arranging they are happy to organize a flower arranging course

  • Flexibility if the couple are away and a delivery is expected
