The housekeeper is an integral member of the team who will work along side the Management and Nursing team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of all Nursing equipment, both in use in theatres and store., + To maintain a high standard of cleanliness of all clinical equipment, both in use in theatre and in store.
+ To ensure all equipment and the theatre environment is in good working order at all times and report appropriately if not.
+ Maintain Health and Safety in the workplace and complete risk assessments and electrical checks as required.
+ To order and maintain an appropriate stock supply of consumables to unit via oracle, /telephone/email/hospital supply chain.
+ Maintain patient confidentiality and perform clerical tasks such as answering the telephone and use of cerner.IT system, UK nationals or other persons with a right of abode have an eligible residency status if they have been ordinarily resident in the UK or the British Overseas Territories, or the Crown Dependencies (Channel Islands and Isle of Man) for at least the previous 3 years on the first day of the apprenticeship.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing a DBS application is met by the successful applicant/s. DBS costs are recovered via salary deduction following starting in post.
