A vacancy has arisen on ward 16, a mixed sex Head & Neck, ENT/Breast/Plastic Surgery unit with the Centenary Building at Castle Hill Hospital.

Would you enjoy the hustle and bustle of a busy, surgical ward setting? If so, you

could be just who we are looking for.

The patients we care for have a variety of both medical and surgical conditions and are nursed in a patient centred environment by an experienced and dedicated team.

The post holder will coordinate all Hotel Services in the department and work as part of the clinical team to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained. To work closely with the Senior Matron and Departmental Sister in ensuring the Trusts standards are met. They are focused on maintaining national standards of cleanliness in relation to the direct patient environment and equipment within the ward area.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, occasional weekend working may be required in order to meet the needs of the service.

You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written, have a flexible approach to working and previous evidence of effective team working.
