Housekeeping Assistant - Bank

This is a Housekeeping Assistant role with Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home, while treating residents with dignity and respect. The successful candidate will have knowledge of health and safety, experience in cleaning and laundry, and a commitment to delivering excellent service., As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with the instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained. You will also be responsible for ensuring that residents are treated with dignity and respect, and that their personal space and belongings are always respected. The role requires knowledge of health and safety, particularly moving and handling techniques, fire safety, and COSHH assessments, as well as experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting and the ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
