Full Job Description

The House Keeping Manager reporting to the Site FM and MITIE Regional team. This role is to be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of cleaning standards and environmental management at Trinity Leeds, in accordance with contractual obligations.

Main Tasks

-Be responsible for front of house and back of house cleaning and environmental services to meet Trinity Leeds brand requirements.

-Managing the waste, hygiene, and pest control services to ensure the services comply with legislation.

-Manage the on-site cleaning staff to deliver an efficient service

-Support the drive to improve the centres environmental performance

-Devise and implement continual environmental improvements

-Manage the development of the onsite cleaning team

-Support communication and promote awareness across the centre of the new procedures to improve the centres environment

-Ensure full use of all on site systems

-Develop a system structure and gain a good knowledge of the centres operations from a sustainability and environmental view

-Meet on a regular basis with tenants and sub-contractors and report to senior management working closely with the Management team to ensure the service delivery is practicable and facilitates the requirements of the stakeholders

-Audit and continually monitor both internal and external building users i.e. contactors and retailers and in-house team

-Ensure compliance with environmental legislation at the centre

-Manage the collation of data on sustainability issues

-Undertake fair and efficient duty rostering of the team; allocate annual leave and overtime duties to prescribed procedures.

-Measure performance of staff through regular reviews and develop PDP's

-Work with the Security on the strategic development and Implementation of the environmental management system (EMS) to ensure that the centre is compliant with environmental legislation covering but not exclusive to waste management and pest control

-Make a positive contribution to the company's Corporate Responsibility Strategy.

Experienced leader having a 'can do' attitude with strong interpersonal skills

-Be commercially and financially aware - able to manage all costs within work stream, including P&L to ensure correct margin obtained

-IT literate with working knowledge of MS Office and Excel

-Able to deliver transformational change

-Sets and maintains very high standards of delivery - attention to detail essential

-Able to demonstrate partnership approach to customer management and deliver exceptional customer service

-Environmental management awareness

-Have an excellent understanding of Health and Safety issues

-Driven to complete tasks above expectations

-Experience of writing detailed monthly reports

-Diligent, professional, and flexible

-High degree of self-motivation and dedication to achieving excellence

-Effectively manages staff performance, provides regular and constructive feedback

-Enables others to excel

-Be prepared to undertake duty manager training and be part of the site duty management rota

-Have a flexible approach as the cleaning operation is 24 hours, and some weekend working and out of hours working will be required
