Newcastle City Council is seeking to appoint a Housing Delivery Assistant to support our Care and Repair Newcastle (CARN) Service, within the Housing and Communities Directorate.


The successful applicant will work with the team to support people to find the right solutions for them so they can retain and regain their independence and live successfully and safely in their own home. It is a rewarding role within a very busy service area, so the successful applicant will need to be an effective communicator with good problem-solving skills. The Housing Delivery Assistant will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Housing projects and will work as part of a wider team to ensure grant information is collected and recorded in line with grant regulations, that good relationships are built with key stakeholders, teams and customers, that projects are delivered effectively and within agreed timescales.


We want individuals who are enthusiastic about helping people and have a strong track record of delivering excellent customer service, who are able to prioritise their workload to get the best outcomes. Experience of working of working with a range of partners is a must and a background of working within housing or health environments would be a distinct advantage.
