Full Job Description
As a HR Advisor, you'll provide expert guidance across the organisation, handling everything from complex employee relations cases to strategic policy development. You'll also:
- Lead on employee relations matters, providing authoritative advice to managers and staff
- Drive best practice in people management across the Council
- Develop innovative solutions for absence management and employee wellbeing
- Handle family-friendly policies and flexible working requests
- Contribute to the modernisation of HR policies and procedures
- Leverage HR analytics to inform decision-making and strategy
CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent (essential) - Proven experience as an HR Advisor
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and its practical application
- Strong relationship-building skills and stakeholder management ability
- Experience in change management and organisational development
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and professional credibility

- Salary: £33,854 - £36,638 per annum
- Hours: 37 hours per week
- Contract: Two-year fixed term
- Location: Hybrid working
