Full Job Description

Our offices are based in London and Macclesfield, linked via good public transport routes. We offer comprehensive learning & development opportunities, and an engaging work atmosphere. This is a 30 hour per week, 12 month fixed term role to cover maternity leave (Please note this is an internal only vacancy, at this time we are not accepting external applications) What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver high-quality, commercial, and compliant HR advice tailored to Support Services client groups.
  • Lead the HR Service Desk Team to handle day-to-day employee relations confidently and ensure a best-practice approach across the business.
  • Coach and develop your team to maintain high standards, ensuring consistent delivery of HR services.
  • Handle complex employee relations and TUPE matters escalated by the HR Service Desk.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Learning & Development, Recruitment, Payroll, and Benefits, to align with the UK HR Strategy.
  • Oversee HR administrative processes, including starters, leavers, payroll, and monthly HR reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, challenging the status quo to position the HR function as industry-leading.
  • Define and deliver strategic objectives for HR through cross-functional projects and initiatives, focusing on colleague engagement, development, communication, and culture.
  • Continue to develop and embed our Celebrate Equality - ED&I initiatives.
  • Deliver HR training to promote diversity, inclusion, and leadership development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with stakeholders and promoting HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.

    A solid HR background with proven management experience; CIPD qualification is desirable.
  • Expertise in handling a range of employee relations issues with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in HR processes, reporting, and communication.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, continuously seeking innovative, tailored solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools, showcasing strong organisational abilities.
  • A passion for HR, demonstrating enthusiasm, professionalism, and dedication to achieving outstanding results.
  • Ability to adapt your approach to various audiences, setting a high standard for customer service.
  • A collaborative mindset with flexibility, ensuring smooth teamwork and support across HR functions.
