Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, well-organised, and enthusiastic HR/Recruitment Administrator to join our central Human Resources team. This position plays a key role in supporting the operational agency recruitment processes throughout the group. You will thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment within a matrix-structured organisation. As a vital member of the team, you will help manage the recruitment cycle, ensuring compliance with safer recruitment practices, GDPR, and group policies., Recruitment Process Management: Adhere to established agency recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at all stages, from job postings to onboarding new hires.
Agency Management: Collaborate with recruitment agencies, ensuring that agency staff meet recruitment standards and comply with group policies.
Safer Recruitment Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to safer recruitment practices and relevant legislation, such as safeguarding and vetting procedures.
Conducting Interviews: Assist in the coordination and scheduling of interviews and candidate assessments for agency roles.
Coordination of New Staff Onboarding: Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure smooth onboarding of agency staff, ensuring all necessary documentation, checks, and induction processes are completed.
GDPR and Policy Compliance: Ensure the protection and confidentiality of all candidate data in accordance with GDPR and internal policies.
General Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR and recruitment teams, including preparing recruitment materials, maintaining recruitment databases, and generating reports.
Proactive and Self-Motivated: A self-starter who thrives in both independent and team environments.
Passionate About Recruitment: Someone with a genuine enthusiasm for agency recruitment and a keen interest in expanding your skills and knowledge within the HR field.
Highly Organised: Capable of efficiently managing recruitment operations under tight deadlines and time constraints.
Sector Enthusiast: Excited about working in the further education sector and dedicated to ensuring the recruitment process adheres to the highest standards of compliance and best practices.
Key Skills and Experience:
Experience in Recruitment: Ideally, previous experience working in agency recruitment within an educational environment.
Knowledge of Recruitment Best Practices: Understanding of recruitment processes and compliance with safer recruitment standards.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and compliance at all stages of recruitment.
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with candidates, staff, and agencies effectively.
Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring deadlines are met and processes run smoothly.
IT Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and familiarity with recruitment management systems (iTrent) or databases is beneficial.
Commitment to Confidentiality and GDPR: A clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection in recruitment activities.
