This position is a Permanent Opportunity As a HR Services Assistant, you will be expected to:
- Provide comprehensive HR administrative support for the Group, acting as the first point of contact for recruitment and adhering to Group Service Level Agreements.
- Be a main point of contact for general enquiries predominately by email to the HR Services inbox, via telephone and Microsoft Teams.
- Provide support for all Group Recruitment and liaising with managers throughout the process. Advertising vacancies, preparing applications for shortlisting, organising interviews and assessment centres and ensuring the recruitment system is updated.
- Provide suitable support and attendance at interviews and assessment centres when required.
- Support with processing Change to Terms and Conditions and Leaver forms.
- Support with the process of on boarding of new staff; including issuing offer letters and contracts, obtaining references, carrying out ID checks, adding to the HR/Payroll system and ensuring all relevant departments are aware. Sending 30/90-day feedback questionnaires to new starters.
- Support with the monitoring of probationary review periods and ensure outcome letters are issued.
- Assist with all general HR administration tasks including employment benefits and health and wellbeing tasks.
- Support with the collation of data for Quarterly Internal Audits and HR Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Support the team on workshops such as Apprenticeships, Interview Skills and Careers Events.
- Support with arranging Occupational Health Appointments for the Group and raising subsequent purchase orders.
- Support with the co-ordination of absence review meetings.
- Support and assist members of the People & Learning Team with ad hoc projects and initiatives across the Group.
- Meet appraisal targets and support the delivery and achievement of overall business objectives.
- Ensure workload is achieved within agreed Service Level Agreements while working in an agile way and enjoying a healthy work-life balance.

- Adhere with the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
GCSE or Equivalent in Maths and English.- Experience of producing high volumes of administrative duties and tasks (preferably within a HR environment.
- Possess excellent communication skills to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.
- Highest degree of confidentiality at all times when dealing with sensitive information.
- Proven ability to organise and prioritise own workload in line with business needs.
- The ability to apply excellent attention to detail skills.
- Proven ability to deliver results in a uniquely fast paced environment.
- Ability to use Microsoft office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to work in an agile working environment

- Certificate in HR or Recruitment Practice.
- Experience of working in a HR/recruitment environment.
- Experience of working with HR & Payroll Systems.
