Full Job Description
+ A Wide Range of Extra-Curricular Opportunities: You ll have the chance to engage with students outside the classroom, supporting a variety of activities that enrich their school experience, + Plan and deliver engaging and effective Humanities lessons for KS3 and KS4 students. A key focus will be on teaching Geography to KS4
+ Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
+ Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth
+ Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning
+ Participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community
+ Due to the timing of the role, support with planning and marking will be provided
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualifications will be required. You will need to hold current UK work eligibility (no sponsorship) and full compliance checks including references and police checks will be completed upon application., + 'Good' Ofsted Report: Join a school with a proven track record of high standards, as demonstrated by our 'Good' Ofsted rating, + Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
+ Specialism in Geography with a strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
+ Excellent communication and organisational skills
+ Ideally, be able to mark and plan for the duration of the assignment but there is flexibility with the department
+ A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
+ Ability to inspire and motivate students with varied abilities and interests

The Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a dynamic team. This role is to cover an absent Geography Teacher, you will be starting in the summer term with the possibility of extending through to the new academic year. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, engaging a love for the subject and helping the students achieve their full potential.
